翼翼亭原先是位于场地中央一处未经修饰的燃气站，旁边穿过一条田间小路。设计结合小路给燃气站增添了一个折面屋顶，将这一田间小屋定义成一个田中央的歇脚处。明黄色的屋顶让小屋融入田野的同时，如小鸟振翅般动感的形态也成为广阔田野中的一个视觉焦点。
The Wings Pavilion was originally an unadorned gas station located in the center of the site, with a small field path passing by. The design incorporated the path and added a folded roof to the gas station, defining this small buiding as a resting place in the center of the field. The bright yellow roof allows the buidling to blend into the field, while its dynamic form, reminiscent of a bird flapping its wings, becomes a visual focal point in the vast field.
